Canvas is a very interesting feature in web design, allowing for things you previously had to use Java or Flash for.
My though was to make the decorations of a webpage interactive or at least more analog, and since I'm a big fan of steampunk, I came up with these toys.
If you find them useful, you may use them on your own site or expand on them as you see fit, as long as you put up a notice in the source code giving credit to Ion from Grombleton.com.
The gears to the left are interactive.
If you grab them with the mouse, you'll notice that they stop moving, although not without struggling under the extreme pressure building up in the engine.
Also notice that you can drag them back and forth in a natural way.
Don't get your fingers caught!
After release, the gears go back to normal operation.
The hands on the clock to the right is drawn on a background image.
The clock automatically adapts to your local time.
